Summary
In a modern society populated by beastmen, the down-and-out actress, Shen Youqing, happens to be a chinchilla. During an audition, she was nearly sexually exploited by the assistant director. However, just in the nick of time she was saved by someone she hadnt seen in years: Shi Ruolin; her first love, marriage partner, fiance, and mortal enemy whom she had not seen for many years. However, Shen Youqing didnt even have time to thank her savior, and instead took the opportunity to escape. When meeting again, Shi Ruolin unexpectedly proposes a contract. Facing a financial crisis, Shen Youqing gives in to the temptation of making money and agrees to endure humiliation and become a subordinate of the cold-blooded snake. As they spend time together day and night, the long-standing misunderstandings between them slowly resolve, and their feelings for each other deepen as they spend the rest of their lives together.
